Your business … in graphic terms
Your logo/brand/identity is what defines your business to the public. It should convey, in graphic terms, what you do, what you stand for, and what your style is. The most successful logos are very simple so they are easily ‘read’ in a second of time. Oftentimes, the best logo is a simple text-based wordmark, which is simply part or all of the business name designed in a uniquely memorable way. However, a distilled illustration can be even more compelling.
Developing a logo:
- It’s vital to spend time speaking with you about your business, the characteristics of your target audience, and how you envision your brand being presented to the public: on the web or in printed media only, on outdoor signage, on a t-shirt, etc.
- I typically begin with a series of 4-6 polished logo mockups to show you. After choosing one, we then work together to play with variations, refine, and nail down the final design.
- The final design is then delivered to you as a series of files in a variety of sizes and file formats depending on your usage requirements.
